Final Exam Tech.docx

EDG 2701 Reflection Exercise 3.doc This is a paper I wrote for my Diverse Populations course this semester. I had to interview a teacher (Mr Bouchard) and write a paper about it. Thought I would put it up for anyone who might be interested in reading his thoughts and mine.

6 SITES  TO  REVIEW

http://techlearning.com/ - I like the webinars they provide you with. They even give you a list of the upcoming webinars.

http://aera.net/ - good site that deals with researching how to make education better. The site also has webcasts and media spots on the site which is very productive too.

http://ascd.org/ - What a great site. Helps educate you how to be a better teacher. One neat feature is that it has a blog area that allows people to put up their personal ideas.

http://thejournal.com/ - another site that deals with educating teachers on how to better teach in the classroom only this site focuses on the integration of technology.

http://fno.org/ - first impression of this site was it looks very scattered. Might have good content but it throws me off right from the start.

http://aace.org/ - Site deals with advancement in Educational Technology and E-Learning. Good looking site, very easy to navigate.

http://jime.open.ac.uk/ - Different site, it’s almost like a blog site where people post articles about technology information.

My 3 SITES  TO  REVIEW

http://scyuen.wordpress.com/ - Sweet site, has the third version of ‘Shift Happens’ so its updated to the more recent information.

http://www.learning-tech.co.uk/ - This site focuses on educating teachers. Gives links right on the main page for different applications.

http://www.tech4learning.com/ - This site has tools too that get you right in the middle of the action to learn.

Digital Images Tutorials

You can find different links here that give you ideas for using the Digital Images. For example on the Kodak Digital Learning Center website you can show pictures and use different programs to change all aspects of your stuff. It also provides tips from the different  professional photographers on everything from taking photos to enhancing them, in a good way. On the Adobe Kids club page it has many different projects for children that you can try out prior to letting them use it.
